Heather Harris Freiberg
Heather Harris Freiberg M.Ed, M.S., is a licensed, and educationally accredited school psychologist. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Kenyon College, her master’s degree in education at John Carroll University, and then worked as a classroom teacher for several years in both Atlanta, Georgia and southern Ohio. She returned to Miami University of Ohio to complete additional education in school psychology. She maintains an educational license to teach children of all ages, in both regular and special needs classroom environments, as well as to practice school psychology. Ms. Freiberg is a member of both the Ohio Association of School Psychologists and the National Association of School Psychologists.
Ms. Freiberg has experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. In addition to having experience with psycho-educational assessment, she has training and experience in intervention services for children and adolescents who have difficulties managing their attention, learning typically, or behaving as expected at home or in classroom environments. Areas of expertise include diagnosing and managing literacy based learning disorders, inattention and hyperactivity. Ms. Freiberg has also assisted children who struggle with social challenges. In addition, she has also collaborated with school personnel and parents in public and private schools.
She enjoys working on the behalf of children of all ages as a part of a team of teachers, parents and, when appropriate, physician specialists in order to enable students to achieve positive outcomes and increased competence and confidence. Ms. Freiberg consults with local schools regarding children in grades pre-K through 12, attends planning and IEP meetings, and conducts training and educational workshops for parents, teachers, and staff.
Over the last two decades, Ms. Freiberg has enjoyed her time as a parent, a teacher, and psychologist in greater Cleveland. Whether working with children at school, in her office, or spending time with her own children at home, she is grateful for the opportunities to enjoy their company. In her spare time, Ms. Freiberg loves the outdoors (especially the beach), cooking, gardening and reading.

Sue Ann Philippbar
Sue Ann Philippbar, M.A., CCC-SLP is a clinically certified speech-language pathologist who has been practicing for over 20 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Iowa. She completed subsequent graduate coursework at Kent State University. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Ohio Speech and Hearing Association. She has been a Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University since 2000. Additionally, she co-authored several clinical research publications and national presentations.
Ms. Philippbar’s clinical work includes the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolescents and children with neurological disorders, post-concussion symptoms, learning differences, and developmental speech-language difficulties. Throughout her career, she has been an interdisciplinary team-member, focusing on an integrated treatment approach to the clients she serves.
Ms. Philippbar enjoys working with clients and families to help them navigate a path toward improved learning and better self-awareness. Her experience as a clinician and parent has given her special appreciation for the concerns parents have when their child struggles with language, social communication, and/or achieving academic success.

Lisa McElwain
Lisa McElwain is a licensed teacher in the state of Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Allegheny College and her master’s degree in education, as well as a Reading Endorsement, from Cleveland State University. Additionally, she is certified in both Level I and Level II of the Wilson Reading Program.
Ms. McElwain has worked as a classroom teacher at a variety of grade levels, and currently teaches 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. She also has experience working as an intervention specialist, and especially enjoys assisting students who struggle with executive functions. Ms. McElwain currently provides individual instruction in the Wilson Reading Program, as well as organizational coaching, and tutoring in a variety of subjects.
Ms. McElwain enjoys both classroom teaching and working with students and families to provide support so that have a greater likelihood of showing what they know. Her experiences with children who she works with, as well as with her own daughters, have given her an understanding of the variety of ways in which children can feel success.
